Ever Present Imperfections

7 Sep

When we have recreated our perspective and in doing so reshaped the world, the next obstacles we must face are the flaws of our creation. No matter how hard we try we will not create ourselves or the world perfectly. That’s okay.

The perfect creation is imperfect. It’s meant to be. Because there are too many things to be learned from not getting it right the first time. Lessons like persistence and determination.

We are all flawed or broken in some way. It is in those imperfections that we find the common thread that connects us to one another. Dreamers share another common thread, too. That is their drive to overcome their flaws and mend their brokenness.

Striving for the ideal will not guarantee that we will achieve it. It guarantees that we will try. It means that we will not let our flaws incapacitate us. We don’t even have to try to remove the flaws. While striving we evolve beyond the reach of our flaws. There is no struggle. Striving is not the same as struggling. Struggling is what happens when we’re unsure. Dreamers strive because they are sure they can reach their dreams and nothing, not even their own flaws, will change their mind.

Violet Ambitions are flawless.
